An excellent idea that makes an almost ideal product

Putting a big handle on a flosser is a great idea. Making the flosser so that one can change the floss and re-use the frame is also a great idea. Impregnating the floss with bacteria killing xylene is also a great idea. I use these a lot. They're the primary way I use dental floss. I would floss less if they didn't exist. Their biggest problem is the plastic around the split end of the shaft where the tension is created. This plastic tends to crack, rendering the flosser less than ideally operable. Ultimately, I think the solution is a refillable frame made of sturdier (and so more expensive) material with a threading tool for starting new floss. Whether it makes sense, from a business standpoint, to produce such a product, I don't know.

Very handy.But I have one question - How to extend the floss if it breaks while using and how to keep it taut?
