Waterpik WP-100 Ultra Dental Water Jet

This machine is a poorly designed piece of crap. The "Pause" button sticks and the water flow fails to resume when the button is released. I have to shut it off and wait for the button to pop out again in order to use it. Over and over and over... We have replaced the wand twice and within a couple months it starts sticking again. This device costs way too much money for such poor quality. I would suggest that if the water only flowed when the button was pushed, it might make more sense and be less tricky. This is an awful device. DO NOT BUY!

I gave the waterpik 5 stars because I truly feel it is a wonderful product. I use my waterpik every night before I brush my teeth and I can see/feel the difference after I use it. It helps remove food particles and other gunk from in between your teeth. I am not a fan of flossing so a rarely do it, and I find this to be a great alternative.

I firmly believe that a waterpik is superior to dental floss. I worked for over 30 years in dentistry and used a waterpik for ca. 4o years myself. I still have all my teeth and my peridontal (gums) condition is very good. Before you go to bed, brush your teeth for two minutes and then use the waterpik at the HIGHEST setting! Here the but...unfortunately the pressure of the waterpik is not as strong as it used to be in their older models. But still, use it regularly and you will put your dentist out of business.

My previous waterpic was small, powerful and lasted 30+ years. It was electrically operated. The new one is "chargable", not as powerful and lasted only a few months. I would love to purchase an older model or even a used one. Can you help?

I bought this after years of dental neglect under the recommendation of my dentist. Easy set up. The stuff that flies out after I already thought I had done a good job brushing my teeth... Amazing! My teeth always feel just like they do after a professional cleaning.

I had braces as a youth and as a result my teeth are very tightly spaced together. I've never really been able to floss using traditional floss as it was very difficult to get the floss between my tight teeth. A friend recommended the Waterpik WP-100 oral irrigator and I thought viola. I can use water to jet in-between my teeth in place of flossing. Now I thought it wouldn't be as effective as traditional flossing but to my surprise my dental hygienist actually thought I'd taken up flossing my teeth we're so clean. I told not at all by thanks to my new Waterpik oral irrigator she thought i had. I love my dental water jet 100 ultra and will continue to 'trick' dentists and hygienist into thinking I floss the old traditional way. Thank you Waterpik for a great product that really works.

I am so pleased with the updated version of the Waterpik. I am using it for the pocket pik feature where I put a little bleach in the water. It is working very well and my gums have improved.

I have owned my waterpik for over 8 months now I thought I would share my personal experience with this product with everyone else to read. The only reason why I am choosing to write a review because I feel it is owed to Waterpik to let them know how much I appreciate a high quality product they have made. This Waterpik has made my laste dental visit my best one yet. I am not one who likes to floss so I tend to rarely do it. However when I go to my dentist it is never a pleasant visit. Now that I have been using the Waterpik my dentist has noticed a huge improvement in my overall oral health. If you hate flossing, but care about your teeth try out this amazing product.

I love the way the Waterpik cleans my teeth. It blasts everything between my teeth and gum. Cleans out food particles from all crevices. The package comes with different tips. Very elegant looking and compact. It will save you more in dental bills than it costs. Much better then those rubber tip device at stimulating your gums. Be careful when using the product though. If you lose control of the handle, you’ll be spraying your entire bathroom.
