Thornton 3in1 Floss

I was disappointed that this product has become so "delicate" The fiber is so danity I have trouble holding it. In the past the product has been much more robust, with a thicker thread and a genrally thicker product, which I found easier to use and more effective in cleaning teeth. JSV

I've been using this Thornton's 3 in 1 Floss for several years, which I could find in local drugstores. However, recently I can only find it on-line. I'm willing to buy it and pay shipping costs just to get it again. Been using store brand floss (that's supposed to mimic this product) and it's my opinion that the store brands do not give the same performance as Thornton's. I so enjoy feeling the extra-thick part of the flosser as it reaches every surface of the deeper gum pockets, knowing it's doing its job as advertised. It was only when I couldn't get this product in the local stores (and I checked several times in at least 6 locations) and had to use the store brand type that I got a gum infection over a pocket. I had not had any gum infections since using this product. I am on my second antibiotic to get rid of this gum infection --and I don't think it's helping:-( I'm determined to get my hands on a Thornton's floss pack as soon as I can to prevent any more infections, hopefully!
