The Doctor's Night Guard Classic

I was recently diagnosed as a teeth grinder and my teeth are starting to show the results of it. I have these ridges on my teeth that are strictly from grinding my teeth. I needed a solution ASAP! I ordered the Doctor's Night Guard since it was a reasonable price and I did not want to spend around $400 buying a custom one when I could make one at home. The night guard was easy to make and I was able to wear it throughout the night. It took some getting used to but after a few days, I was able to sleep through the night with the night guard. I no longer worry about the damage to my teeth and I don't feel comfortable without my night guard now!

You get what you pay for

My dentist told me that my teeth were wearing down due to grinding in the middle of the night. He wanted to make me a custom nightguard that would cost around $400. I'm a light sleeper and before investing the money in something that might cause me to lose sleep, I wanted to find a cheap alternative to do a test run. I bought the Doctor's Night Guard mainly because of the price but also because it helps with TMJ. I also thought the one size fits all eliminated the need to figure out what size I am. The first time I put in the night guard, I felt like a boxer. The night guard is a bit bulky for my mouth and the sides came up too high and rubbed against my gums. Once I got used to having it in my mouth, I was able to relax and fall asleep but woke up i the morning to find the nightguard on the floor. I guess the device works if you can keep it in your mouth and it is much cheaper than what you get from the dentists. It just isn't very comfortable.
