What is Super PoliGrip® used for? Super PoliGrip® is a denture adhesive cream used to secure dentures in the mouth. It forms a barrier that prevents food from entering the area between dentures and gums/roof of the mouth.

How do I use Super PoliGrip®? It takes a few tries to find the right amount of adhesive for your dentures. Too much adhesive can cause oozing. We strongly recommend you start with small amount, and adjust later on.

To apply adhesive to your dentures:

• Clean and dry your dentures.
• Squeeze the tube from the top and apply adhesive in dashes or strips, not too close to denture edges.
• Rinse mouth before inserting dentures.
• Press dentures in place, hold firmly and bite down for a few seconds.

How soon will Super PoliGrip® start to work? The product starts to work immediately.

How long can the effects last? The effects could last all-day (up to 16 hours) depending on individual food and drink consumption.

How do I remove the adhesive from my gums and denture plate?

• Swish mouth with water.
• Take dentures out slowly by using rocking motions.
• Wipe adhesive residue from gums and dentures with soft, moist cloth.
• Brush your dentures under running warm water and soak in a Polident® cleanser.

Is it harmful if I swallow some of the denture adhesive? Swallowing small amounts of denture adhesive during normal usage is expected and is not harmful. The ingredients are edible and non-toxic, however, if you think that you are swallowing an unusually large amount of the product, you may want to contact your dentist about the fit of your dentures.

How can I make sure that Super PoliGrip® holds in place during meals? Super PoliGrip® should be applied 15-30 minutes before the meal.

Does it come in different strengths or flavors? Super PoliGrip® denture adhesive cream is available in four variants: Original, Free, Ultra Fresh, and Extra Care with PoliSeal™. Super PoliGrip® denture adhesive Powder is also available.

What is the "Ooze Control Tip™"? In late July 2002, Super PoliGrip® launched a new ooze-control tip™. This innovation helps to extrude a thinner, flatter ribbon of adhesive. It provides more control and is easier to apply and results in less ooze.

Can Super PoliGrip® be used to secure partials? Yes, all denture adhesives can be used on partials on an as needed basis. The adhesive will not damage the metal parts (i.e., the connectors and clasps) of the denture.
