After owning a few regular Rotadent toothbrushes, when it came time to replace my old unit, I decided to upgrade to the new model. I bought the Rotadent Plus toothbrush for my husband in June and by mid July the thing was dead. We've tried everything we could think of to figure out what could be wrong, but nothing worked. So now we are trying to get a replacement under the warranty but because I did not buy it from a dentist's office the warranty does not apply. $150 down the drain. very dissapointed. Before this happened I bought a second brush for myself ... we'll see how long it lasts but not holding my breath for a good outcome. thinking about switching back to the regular Rotadent ... would be nice to get my money back. has anyone else had this experience?

I bought a Rota-Dent Plus about 1/12 to 2 months ago. I used the flat brush for about a week or 2 maybe, after that, the brush rotated some, otherwise just sat there on my teeth doing nothing. I then changed to the second flat brush, so far so good! It cleans well, but I am sure that the quality of this toothbrush is not as good as the older version of Rota-Dent! The plus one doesn't seem to hold it's charge as well either. I won't be recommending the Rota-Dent Plus to anyone anytime soon!! Also, no returns unless they are "still in the package they came in" "wrapped", unused....like you can try it by just looking at it instead of using it!!! How do you spell STUPID!!!! You can't return it just because "you didn't like it" either! Not good business if you ask me. I will stick to the old version of Rota-Dent... thank you very much! That cleans just as well!
