wonderful product

I was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome (sicca diseaase) & rheumatoid arthritis in 2008. I suffered from dry mouth since the 1990s. At a Sjogren's support group, I was given a sample of Oramoist. Now I use it to get through church every Sunday and when I need to be discrete about my dry mouth. I use mouth sprays, but with the expense of a spray bottle every week, I began to make my own spray with 2/3rds pure glycerin and 1/3 water. I love the Oramoist!

OraMoist works!

I occasionally suffer from dry mouth and was looking for something other than a gum or spray to help alleviate the condition. I thought it was clever that the OraMoist is a little disc that you stick to the inside of your cheek. You just apply and it stimulates saliva flow for a few hours. I went through about 3 discs per day. I didn't need any supplemental mints or gum while wearing the disc either as the disc helped increase saliva and tasted fresh. The fact that OraMoist is sugar and preservative free also sold me. I usually stock up and by 4 boxes to save on shipping.

Directions

Place the OraMoist patch on a clean, dry finger with the convex or round pink side up. Place the pink side on either side of the roof of the mouth (palate) halfway back and hold in place for 10 seconds. The patch will adhere to the palate for 2 - 4 hours and then dissolve. OraMoist increases mouth moisture, alleviates the feeling of dry mouth, and locks in moisture. If using more than three a day, change the position of the patch in the mouth.

Alternate Application / Denture Wearers:
The patch may be applied to any soft tissue inside the mouth such as the inside of the cheek. Do not attach to dentures or appliances.
