Dr. Fresh Firefly Flossers

I bought the Dr. Fresh Firefly Flosser for little cousins to get them started on good oral healthcare. I floss every night so might as well get the kids into it also. Dr. Fresh Firefly Flossers are very colorful and almost look like toys for children. It also looks like a fun gift to give. But then I decided that I wanted to test it out since I usually use regular string floss and I always wanted to try the pick flosses. I'm not sure if its because its made for space between teeth (assuming kids have wider gaps between their teeth) but the floss was a little rough on my gums. The pick is very easy to use so maybe thats why I wasn't used to the pressure of pushing the floss down but I was nervous to cut my gums. Teaching kids to floss is important but I want a product that I would feel comfortable giving to a child as well.
