Orabase B paste is the best product for cold sores that I have ever found. I have been plagued with cold sores my whole life, and I have used just about every product out there. I just happened to try Orabase one time long ago, and it stopped the further developement of the cold sore immediately. It relieves the pain as well for a long time. It is the ONLY product I will ever use because it is the only one that works. I rub the paste in firmly at the first sign or feel of an on-coming coldsore. It doesn't take much. The paste stays in place. Sometimes the sore never gets to show itself, or if it does, it remains very small. It all depends how soon I get the paste on it. None of the other products I have tried even comes close. Orabase B is not easily found in stores now for some reason.

Orabase B is a a godsend to me. I get cold sores and canker sores more often than most people. The paste stops the inflamation immediately and even prevents an outbreak most of the time. I hope that it is never discontinued. If you never tried it, you really don't know what you're missing.
