In a clinical study involving 248 participants, Canker Cover reduced the average duration of canker sores from 9.5 days to just 1.5 days. In the same study, 60% of canker sores were completely healed within a day. Although "menthol" is the FDA approved "active ingredient", mineral salt and citrus oil (listed under "inactive ingredients") help speed healing, according to the scientists who conducted the Canker Cover study.

Directions: (adults & children 5 years of age and older) Place the Canker Cover patch on a clean, dry finger with the white side up, then place and hold the white side on the sore for 20 seconds. Within 30 minutes the patch becomes gel-like. It absorbs fluids from the sore as part of the healing process and expands slightly. The patch will stick to the affected area and cover the sore for 6 - 8 hours and then dissolve. Do not remove patch before it dissolves. Apply additional patches as needed.
